This year we celebrated New Year's Eve at our house with friends and family. It was a little more low key then what we have done in the past, but it was great to ring in the new year with our baby girl. Reese had fallen asleep before midnight, but woke up 30 seconds before the new year.
On New Year's Day we went to my parent's house. My parents have a party and invite family and friends.
This has been a tradition they have done since before I was born. It was great to visit with some of those friends we only get to see a few times a year. We were also very excited to introduce Reese to these friends. 
New Year's Day is also my nephew Thomas' birthday. My nephew Nathan's birthday was a few days later, but since we were all together we celebrated it that day.
